Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. has concluded a deal for the export of 4,000 mt of coated steel sheet to a construction company in Brazil, in its first export transaction for the product in question in 2013, as announced by its parent company Hebei-based major Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group.
The coating of the steel sheet in question consists of 55 percent aluminum, 43.5 percent zinc and 1.5 percent silicon. The product has good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and to high temperatures and has good heat reflection properties. In addition, it is easy to weld, cut and form.
