On January 31, Heibei Province-based Tangshan Steel hiked its latest prices for medium plate. The details are as follows:
The prices of common carbon plates have been increased by RMB 110/mt ($15/mt). Following the adjustment, the new price of 14-30 mm Q235B is RMB 5,260/mt ($733/mt). Low alloy plate prices have been hiked by RMB 180/mt ($27/mt). In addition, the price of CCSB 14-30 mm has increased to RMB 5,700/mt ($794/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of February 1.
