In the first 10 months of the current year, Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel (Tangshan Steel) exported over 500,000 mt of coated steel products, up 80,000 mt year on year, as announced by its parent company Hebei Steel Group. In October alone, Tangshan Steel’s coated steel exports amounted to 56,000 mt.
The main exported products in question include DX56D Z high-strength galvanized sheet, DP600 galvanized dual-phase steel, G550 high-strength super-thick galvanized sheet and EN DC06 ultra-deep drawing steel.
