Tangshan Steel announces new prices for flat products

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 25, Tangshan Steel announced the settlement price in December and contract price for January 2007. The details are as follows. The settlement prices of hot rolled coils kept the same level as November. The settlement price of Q235 >4.0 mm hot rolled coils is RMB 3,650/mt ($467); the contract price for January 2007 decreased RMB 150/mt ($19) to RMB 3,700/mt ($473). The settlement prices of cold rolled coils increased RMB 40/mt ($5) to RMB 4,500/mt ($575) month on month; the contract price for January is RMB 4,500/mt ($575), equal to the level of December. The above prices include taxes and are effective as of December 25, 2006.
