Tangshan Steel accounts for 10 percent of China’s CR exports in 2010

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Inc. (Tangshan Steel), a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, exported 570,000 mt of cold rolled (CR) steel products in 2010, according to local media sources. The figure is equal to 10 percent of China's total cold rolled steel exports in 2010.
 
At present, Tangshan Steel's export order book for coated steel products is full for the first half of 2011.
 
Tangshan Steel has been focusing on the development of its cold rolled steel production in the past few years. The steelmaker has also developed production of 800-1,500 mm hot dip galvanized steel products in a thickness range of 3.5-4.0 mm.
