The municipal government of Tangshan in China’s Hebei Province has issued another round of emergency emissions reduction measures effective from 15:00 on August 21 to 12:00 on August 27, aimed at tackling air pollution. The move follows previous emergency measures which had ended on August 5.

The emergency emissions reduction measures include 50 percent production cut at sintering machines and shaft furnaces in steelmakers in the whole city. Meanwhile, the rolling mills suspended production in the given period.
