On April 30, Hebei Province-based Tangshan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd (Tanggang) released its May ex-factory prices for HR and CR. All prices have remained unchanged compared with April. The details are as follows:
The new price of Q235 2.75 mm thick HRC is still at RMB 4,280/mt ($556/mt), while that of Q235 5.5 mm thick HRC is RMB 4,150/mt ($539/mt).
The new price of SPCC 1.0 mm thick CRC stays at RMB 4,900/mt ($636/mt), while that of SPCC 1.0 mm thick Full Hard is RMB 4,600/mt ($597/mt).
All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of May 1, 2007.
