Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 12.7 percent in January-September

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in September this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.37 billion, up by 1.1 percent compared to September last year and decreasing by 5.2 percent compared to the previous month. In August, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 2.5 percent decrease month on month.

In the January-September period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders rose by 12.7 percent year on year to $22.46 billion.
