Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 6.4 percent in January-September

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in September this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.01 billion, up 4.4 percent compared to September last year and falling by two percent compared to the previous month. In August, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded a 2.5 percent rise month on month. 
 
In the January-September period of the current year, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders declined by 6.4 percent year on year to $17.16 billion.
