Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 14 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in April this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $2.19 billion, down by 9.4 percent compared to April 2018 and decreasing by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month.

In the January-April period, the country's basic metal and basic metal product export orders fell by 14 percent year on year to $8.6 billion.
