Taigang Stainless wins another tender for Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline

Shanxi Province-based Chinese stainless steel manufacturer Taigang Stainless Steel, subsidiary of Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group (TISCO), has announced that it has won another tender for the supply of stainless steel pipes to the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline project, having already won a tender for the same project in December 2011.

The pipeline is the longest transnational gas pipeline involving China, connecting Ham River in Turkmenistan to Xinjiang autonomous region in China, passing through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, with a total length of 10,000 kilometers.
