Taigang Stainless Steel’s stainless output reaches 1.4555 million mt in H1

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co.'s (TISCO) subsidiary Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. has released its operational results for H1 2011.
 
In the first six months of 2011, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co. produced 4.9880 million mt of crude steel, increasing by 0.35 percent as compared to 4.9705 million mt in the same period of 2010. The total for H1 2011 included 1.4555 million mt of stainless steel, increasing by 3.14 percent year on year.
 
Meanwhile, Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co.'s operating revenue in H1 2011 reached $45.837 billion ($7.18 billion), increasing by 5.57 percent year on year.
