Taigang Stainless Steel’s operating revenue down 23.1% in Jan-Sept

Shanxi Province-based Chinese stainless producer Taigang Stainless Steel Co. (Taigang Stainless Steel), a listed subsidiary of Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (TISCO), has announced that it recorded an operating revenue of RMB 39.986 billion ($5.90 billion) for the January-September period of the current year, down 23.1 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 842 million ($124.37 million) compared to the net loss of RMB 767 million recorded in the same period last year.

In the third quarter of the current year, Taigang Stainless Steel registered an operating revenue of RMB 14.867 billion ($2.19 billion), down 10.23 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 540 million ($79.69 million).
