Iranian longs producer Tabriz Nab Steel, a rolling mill with a current annual capacity of 250,000 mt of angles and U-beam, expects to commission its second rolling line within the coming two to three months.
With the commissioning of the new rolling line, Tabriz Nab Steel's annual longs capacity will double to 500,000 mt. The new line will also produce angles and U-beam.
Tabriz Nab Steel, based in the northwestern Iranian city of Tabriz, is a subsidiary of Turkish-based Nab Holding. Production from the new line is expected to target the local market, though there may also be export opportunities to neighboring countries such as Iraq and Azerbaijan.
