In April of the current year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 444,800 metric tons, increasing by 5.6 percent year on year and down 3.8 percent as compared to March, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the January-April period of this year, Swedish crude steel output increased to 1.74 million mt, up 8.5 percent year on year.
