Swedish crude steel output up 2.8 percent in January-May

In May of the current year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 374,600 metric tons, decreasing by 9.6 percent year on year and down by 11.8 percent as compared to April, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
 
Meanwhile, in the first five months of this year, Swedish crude steel output increased to 2.03 million mt, up 2.8 percent year on year.
