China's Jiangsu Province-based steel finishing company Sutor Tecnology Group Limited has announced that its new hot-dipped galvanizing (HDG) system is near completion and is expected to start production operations in the third quarter of the current year.
Sutor's new HDG system has been designed to include two galvanized pots. Sutor is planning to achieve new production capacities using the hot-dipped galvanizing system for hot rolled and cold rolled steels.
The new HDG system is expected to have an annual capacity of 400,000 mt, thus increasing the company's annual HDG production capacity to 600,000 mt.
Sutor has also announced that they will start the construction of new annealing and degreasing production lines in 2008. The new annealing facility will refine and improve the structure and properties of cold rolled steel.
The new annealing and degreasing production lines will begin operations in the second quarter of 2009. Sutor is aiming for a 300,000 mt annual capacity for each line.
