SSAB replaces the president

Swedish Steel AB (SSAB) is replacing the former president due to retirement. The company decided to appoint Olof Faxander as the new President and CEO in place of Anders Ulberg, who will go into retirement as planned. Olof Faxander is currently the Vice President of Outokumpu, where he is responsible for the Specialty Stainless division. Olof Faxander will begin work on 1 March as the President and CEO after the General Meeting on 21 April 2006.
