Spanish crude steel output down 12.6 percent in Jan-Sep

According to the Spanish steelmakers association Unesid, in September this year, Spanish crude steel output amounted to 1.2 million mt, down 12 percent year on year despite a 23 percent month-on-month growth.

In the first three quarters of the current year, Spain's crude steel output decreased by 12.6 percent compared to the same period of 2011, falling to 10.6 million mt.
