Spain's motor vehicle output up nine percent in Jan-Nov

In November this year, Spain's total motor vehicle output amounted to 196,926 units, rising by 6.36 percent year on year, according to the data reported by the Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (ANFAC). The association noted that the increase in output volumes is still mainly driven by exports. Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of the year Spain's total motor vehicle output reached 2,028,380 units, rising by 9.02 percent year on year.

In November of the current year, Spanish passenger car output increased by 3.63 percent year on year to 150,783 units. In the January-November period, the passenger car segment achieved an increase of 12.05 percent year on year in output to 1,621,694 units.

In November this year, the country's motor vehicle export volume increased by 1.22 percent to 166,222 units, while the volume for the first 11 months rose by 8.67 percent to 1,763,988 units, both year on year.
