Southern GOK’s iron ore concentrate output up 2.4% in Jan-Aug

In the January-August period of the current year, the output of iron ore concentrate mined by Ukraine-based Southern Mining and Processing Plant (Southern GOK) increased by 2.4 percent year on year to 8.6 million mt. In the given period, the company did not produce any iron ore agglomerate.

In August alone, the company mined 1.16 million mt of iron ore concentrate, unchanged month on month, but 10.9 percent higher than in the same month of the previous year, SteelOrbis has learned.
