South Korea’s retail sales up in March

South Korea's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy disclosed that the country's retail sales rose 4.8% year on year in March 2005. Sales of wedding-related items such as clothes, electronics and home appliances contributed to the increase in retail sales. Ministry also attributes the upward trend to the increasing domestic spending.
