South Korea's new car registrations up 24.6% in January-August

In August of the current year, South Korea's new car registrations decreased by 9.2 percent month on month to 16,442 units, up 17.6 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).
 
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year South Korean new car registrations rose by 24.6 percent year on year to 128,817 units.
