South Korea’s new car registrations up 20.5 percent in January-May

In May this year, South Korea’s new car registrations decreased by 5.9 percent month on month to 24,080 units and were up 3.5 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in January-May period this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 20.5 percent year on year to 121,566 units.
