South Korea's new car registrations up 17.3 percent in January-August

In August of this year, South Korea's new car registrations decreased by 6.4 percent month on month to 19,206 units, up 9.5 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in the January-August period of this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 17.3 percent year on year to 179,833 units.
