South Korea’s new car registrations up 14.3 percent in January-August

In August this year, South Korea’s new car registrations decreased by 9.3 percent month on month to 22,116 units and were up one percent year on year, according to the data released by the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA).

Meanwhile, in January-August period this year, South Korean new car registrations rose by 14.3 percent year on year to 194,262 units.
