SMS Demag receives order from Ruukki
Germany's SMS Demag signed an agreement with Finnish steel producer Ruukki Oy to supply a new downcoiler for the existing 80” hot strip mill of the Finnish producer.
The modernization will allow coiling of various steel grades, such as low and medium-carbon steels for cold rolling, structural steel grades, high-strength sectional steel, tube steel grades and special grades.
The new downcoiler will replace the Downcoiler No.1 without any halt in
production.
