SMS Demag re-starts CSP facility at INI Steel

In August 2004, Germany's SMS Demag and South Korean steel producer INI Steel jointly carried out an inspection of INI Steel's CSP facility, which was installed by SMS Demag and had been taken out of service. SMS Demag announced that, under the leadership of SMS Demag, a re-heated thin slab was successfully rolled at INI's CSP rolling mill in February 2005. The re-commissioning of the CSP facility gives INI Steel the ability to produce coils that can be cut into plates or sent for further processing.
