Guizhou Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shuicheng Iron and Steel (Group) Co., a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Shougang Group, has announced that it has signed a preliminary cooperation agreement with China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Corp. and Tianjin Jianke Machinery Co. concerning the establishment of a rebar processing and distribution center in Guiyang in Guizhou Province.
The planned rebar processing and distribution center will supply rebar to Guiyang and surrounding areas. In line with the cooperation agreement, the center will supply an initial volume of 200,000 mt to the market, while Shuicheng Steel's overall annual finished steel sales are expected to reach 2 million mt with the establishment of the new center.
