Shougang Qiangang carries out trial production at new pickling line

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Qiangang, a subsidiary of Shougang Group, has successfully carried out trial production at its new pickling line, as announced by Shougang Daily. As of October 17, a total of 761 mt of picked coils were produced at the line, with trial production having starting on October 11.

The new line has an annual pickling capacity of 800,000 mt of sheet or coil, while its maximum pickling speed is 180 m/min.
