Shougang Jingtang Steel achieves record pig iron output in May

Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Jingtang Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Shougang Group, has stated that in May this year it produced 790,400 mt of pig iron, exceeding the planned output volume for the month by 30,400 mt. The May output volume constitutes a new record monthly volume since the steelmaker's two blast furnaces were put into production.
