Shougang Hierro Peru sees net profit spike in Q4, full-year 2019

Peruvian key iron ore producer Shougang Hierro Peru saw its net profit spike in both Q4 and the full-year of 2019. The company said net profit in Q4 2019 was PEN 324.6 million ($95.9 million), up from PEN 4.7 million ($1.3 million) in Q4 2018.

As for the full-year of 2019, net profit surged to PEN 1.06 billion ($314.6 million), compared to PEN 229.4 million ($67.8 million) in 2018.

Net revenues in Q4 totaled PEN 924 million ($273.1 million), 162.7 percent up, year-on-year. Gross profit in Q4 reached PEN 480 million ($141.9 million), up from PEN 123.1 million ($36.3 million) in Q4 2018.
