Shougang Group delivers 2,400 mt of cold rolled deformed bars to Angola

On December 29, Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group announced that its No. 1 wire rod mill has completed the production of 2,400 mt of cold rolled deformed bars, adding that the cold rolled deformed bars in question have been successfully delivered to Angola. This is the first time Shougang Group's No. 1 wire rod mill has produced cold rolled deformed bars for the Angolan market. The order in question was received in September.

Shougang Group stated that its No.1 wire rod mill has this year continued to increase its range of products, while also improving product quality. In November, the mill produced products in 11 specifications, while it received a total of 45 orders. In the month in question, Shougang Group's No. 1 wire rod mill produced 38,519 mt of premium wire rod, 4,519 mt more than the targeted output volume. The mill's output of small-size products with diameters of 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm in November totaled 23,925 mt.
