Beijing-based Chinese steel giant Shougang Group has announced that in the January-February period this year in the domestic market it sold 350,000 mt of steel sheet for application in home appliances, compared to the initially planned sales volume of 290,000 mt for the period.
Shougang has held the biggest share in the domestic market for the product in question over the past three years, on the back of its supply relationship with major home appliance producers in China including Haier Group, Midea and LG.
