Shijiazhuang Steel’s alloy steel output totals 518,000 mt in Jan-May

Chinese steel giant Hebei Steel Group has reported that in the first five months of the current year its Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province-based subsidiary Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. (Shijiazhuang Steel) produced 518,000 mt of alloy steel, accounting for 71 percent of its total steel output of 720,000 mt for the period. This share is 28 percentage points higher than in the output figures for 2010.
