On June 4, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) announced modifications to regulations governing its rebar futures contracts. In particular, after receipt of approval from China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), SHFE has decided to limit the maximum daily fluctuation of the rebar futures contract price to ± three percent effective as of June 25, compared to the current maximum daily fluctuation of ± five percent.
Meanwhile, SHFE has also published other modifications to its regulations, including those governing transactions, risk control and management measures, and deliveries.
