Shaoguan Steel hikes medium plate price

On April 23, Guangdong Province-based Shaoguan Steel announced ex-factory price increases for some products. The details are as follows:

1. The price of quality carbon steel has gone up RMB 100/mt ($13/mt). After the adjustment, the new price in Guangzhou of 14-25 mm 45# is RMB 4,310/mt ($588/mt).
2. The price of medium plate has risen RMB 50/mt ($6.48/mt). As a result, the price of 14-20 mm Q235 is RMB 4,100/mt ($531/mt) in Guangzhou.
