On November 6 and 7, the FPC (Factory Production Control) Attestation Expert Group of Germanischer Lloyd carried out a BCI: 2008 FPC attestation examination on 11 plate products, including S355JR and Q345B, at Guangdong Province-based Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
After examining the enterprise's product manufacturing process and test & inspection systems, the expert group found that the attestation requirements had all been met. The attestation in question opens the way for exports of plate by Shaoguan Iron and Steel to Singapore, thereby expanding its overseas market.
