Shanxi Province expects to produce 780-800 million mt of coal in 2011

According to the coal industry department of the government of China's Shanxi Province, the province's aggregate coal production in 2010 reached 741 million mt, 41 million mt higher than the prediction made at the beginning of the year in question. Furthermore, coal production in Shanxi Province is expected to reach 780-800 million mt in 2011.

In 2010, 70 percent of total coal production in Shanxi, i.e., over 500 million mt of coal, were delivered to other provinces in China.
