Shandong to invest RMB 1.13 billion in further urban development in 2019

In 2019, RMB 1.13 billion ($0.16 billion) will be invested in the Chinese province of Shandong in construction work focused on further urban development, as announced by the provincial government in Shandong.

In particular, RMB 581 million ($84.7 million) will be invested in the construction of rain and sewage diversion networks, the construction of underground pipe systems, and on environmental improvements along railway lines.

Meanwhile, RMB 196 million ($28.6 million) will be invested in the infrastructure construction, the construction of public service platform construction and to promote industrial development.

At the same time, RMB 353 million ($51.5 million) will be invested in the construction of ultra-low energy buildings, to promote energy efficiency in public buildings.
