Shandong Steel posts net profit of RMB 1.68 billion for H1

Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Shandong Steel) has issued its financial report for the first half of the year, registering an operating revenue of RMB 24.88 billion ($3.62 billion) for the given year, up 5.90 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 1.68 billion ($240 million), up 181.74 percent year on year.
