Shandong Province to cut coal usage by 50 million mt in five years

The government of China’s Shandong Province has announced that it will reduce coal consumption by 50.0 million mt in the coming five years.

Meanwhile, it will reduce the province’s coking capacity by 10.31 million mt in 2019, while eliminating another 6.55 million mt of coking capacity in 2020.
