SGIS Songshan sees sharp rise in net profit in 2017

Guangdong Province-based Chinese steel rolling and processing company SGIS Songshan Co., an affiliate of Guangdong-based Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. (Shaogang), has issued its financial report for 2017, stating that it has achieved an operating revenue of RMB 26.038 billion ($4.1 billion) in the given year, up 86.35 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 2.5165 billion ($0.396 billion), indicating a sharp rise compared to the net profit of RMB 101.4273 million recorded in 2016.
