Severstal’s Tyazhmash delivers equipment to Ashinskiy

The Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that its subsidiary SSM-Tyazhmash (Tyazhmash), one of the largest machine-building enterprises of northwestern Russia, has commenced deliveries of equipment to Russian steelmaker Ashinskiy Metallurgical works (Ashinskiy) for the reconstruction of its flat rolling shop.
 
Under the terms of the contract, Tyazhmash is to supply to Ashinskiy about 1.08 million mt of equipment, to be used for the construction of cooling and rolling examination sections at its flat rolling shop.
 
The delivery is scheduled to be completed by May 2009.
