Severstal signs supply deal with Philips Lighting Poland

Severstal Cherepovets, the main steel producing facility of Severstal Russian Steel, has signed a quarterly agreement with Philips Lighting Poland S.A. for the supply of electrical steel.

Under the terms of the agreement, starting from March 2009 Severstal Cherepovets is to deliver 900 mt of dynamo steel to Philips Lighting Poland 900 mt, to be used in the production of lamps components.  
 
In addition, the wholesale trade and metal services company of Severstal's division Severstallat, has concluded a deal with Philips for the supply of a testing batch of cold rolled strips for its Poland-based subsidiary.
