Russian steel producer Severstal has announced that it has started the shipment of large diameter pipes  made by Severstal's Izhora Pipe Mill for the construction of the gas transmission project Power of Siberia.

The shipment is carried out within the framework of obligations under the results of the first tender for the project which was held in June last year.

The supplies include pipes with a diameter of 1420 mm, made of steel grade K60 with external and internal anti-corrosion coating, designed for the working pressure of 9.8 MPa. The first consignment for a volume of about 2,000 mt has already been dispatched from Izhora Pipe Mill and sent to the customer.
