Severstal-Metalloinvest merger possibility reported

Several Russian information sources have reported that Russian steelmakers Severstal and Metalloinvest are looking into the possibility of a merger.

While the companies are reluctant to speak about their plans, a source close to the companies said that so far there have been no merger negotiations or agreement between the companies.
