Severstal Cherepovets makes record steel shipments to pipe producers

Russian steelmaker Severstal, one of the world's leading steel and steel-related mining companies, has announced that in the first half of the current year its Cherepovets Steel Mill shipped about 430,000 mt of rolled steel products to producers of small and medium diameter pipes.

Also, the company has stated that in May and June of this year Cherepovets Steel Mill supplied 90,000 mt of rolled metal per month to manufacturers of small and medium diameter pipes, while in July it will dispatch a monthly record volume of over 115,000 mt.

CherMK delivers hot rolled steel from its mills 1700 and 2000 to producers of small and medium diameter pipes for the manufacture of water, gas and general-purpose pipes, which are used in housing and public utilities, construction, and in the manufacture of furniture.
