Saudi Arabian Al-Rajhi Steel increases rebar output by 9.6 percent in H1

In the first half of this year, Saudi Arabia-based steelmaker Al-Rajhi Steel increased its rebar output by 9.6 percent, as compared to the corresponding period of 2009, to 404,000 metric tons, Arab Steel has reported. The company's annual rebar production capacity stands at 750,000 metric tons.
 
Meanwhile, in the given period, Al-Rajhi Steel's pipe production declined 29 percent year on year.
 
Al-Rajhi Steel is considered to rank as the third largest rebar producer in the Saudi Arabian market.
