Samuel, Son & Co. has recently announced its acquisition of Metal Spinner Holdings, further increasing its focus on its value-added metals businesses, with a particular focus on the aerospace industry.

The acquisition includes Missouri Metals of St. Louis, Missouri and Metal Spinners, with plants in Indiana, Illinois and Texas. Missouri Metals manufactures precision components and assemblies for both the aerospace and power generation industries. Metal Spinners supplies metal spinning, hydroforming, deep drawing and other specialized metal formed products for air handling, energy, agriculture and other industrial market segments.

According to Samuel’s Manufacturing President Rod Crawford, the acquisition is strategically significant as the company grows in the aerospace market. Crawford announced that Metal Spinners Holdings CEO Olin Wiland will remain as Group President as the entity will operate as a separate group within Samuel's manufacturing division.

Samuel, Son & Co. is a family-owned and operated, integrated network of metal manufacturing, processing and distribution divisions in North America. With over 4,800 employees and over 100 facilities, Samuel serves over 40,000 customers with access to metals, industrial products and related value-added services.
